I think this story and the musical examples are absolutely fabulous, but it is a very long CD for younger elementary students to watch without a book with pictures to follow as the story enfolds. Older elementary students really need a study guide in addition to keep them focused as well.

This CD is about a Grantino Violin and all the people it goes to. It's a great story and it has classical music. What I don't like about it is that it doesn't tell enough about each story. I like how on the CD cover it has a butterfly because all through the stories it gels like a butterfly.

My 4 year old daughter enjoys listening to this while building. I think it appeals to the child who is interested in music and has the patience to really listen, for it is a story. I actually enjoy it, as well. Educational entertainment!
